Lions Clubs International Foundation has surpassed more than US$1 million for relief in the Philippines following Typhoon Haiyan (also known as Typhoon Yolanda). This includes US$130,000 in grants immediately provided by LCIF.
During the days that followed the devastating typhoon, Lions in OSEAL pledged US$600,000 for relief efforts. Donations and commitments have since risen to US$1 million thanks to generous Lions and friends around the world.
These funds will allow Lions to provide for basic needs including food, water, clothing and medicine, as well as provide long-term disaster relief efforts and reconstruction. Learn more about emergency grants, or you can make a donation towards disaster relief efforts.
