In Israel, District 128 received a US$75,000 grant to equip a playground at the Four Seasons Community Park for the disabled. The grant will provide the 9,000 disabled children and adults in the surrounding communities with features that are easy to use and rehabilitative in nature.
A grant of US$49,950 was awarded to District 35-I in Florida, USA, to provide preschool screening programs with equipment for hearing and vision screening. Up to 5,000 children will benefit from screenings through this equipment each year.
