About Lions Clubs International

Since its founding in 1917, Lions Clubs International has grown to become the world’s largest service club organization. With 46,000 clubs in 206 countries, Lions make up a vast network of volunteers and leaders, helping their local communities and reaching out on larger global issues. Whether it’s re-building homes in Haiti, providing vision screenings at the Special Olympics or distributing medicine to prevent eye diseases in Africa, Lions are there—giving their time, working hard and bringing hope.

Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is the official charitable organization of Lions Clubs International. LCIF and Lions work together closely to carry out our aligned missions of serving our local and global communities in the most effective, efficient and meaningful ways as possible.

Lions make LCIF’s work possible. Visit Lions Clubs International’s Web site to find out more. To locate a Lions club, please visit the Club Locator on the LCI Web site.
