Humanitarian Donations: Other Ways to Give

Thank you for your interest in supporting LCIF’s mission of global humanitarian service. We rely on humanitarian donations to improve millions of lives worldwide, and are dedicated to ensuring the best use of our donors’ generosity.

The Foundation has several ways to give beyond making an online donation. Donors may mail check and credit card donations, or make a wire transfer. You can also maximize your contribution with matching gifts and donations of stock.

Check and Credit Card Donations

The Foundation has begun using a lock box service to receive and process all donations. Check and credit card donations should be mailed to the below address, not LCIF headquarters. Mail donations along with the Donation Recognition Form and/or the Melvin Jones Fellowship Application to:

Lions Clubs International Foundation
Department 4547
Carol Stream, Illinois 60122-4547
USA

Package Delivery Services (e.g. UPS, FedEx)
JPMorgan Chase
Department 4547
Mail Code IL1-6030
2500 Westfield Drive
Elgin IL 60124
Phone: 847-488-8358

Please see LCIF Donations and Recognition: Frequently Asked Questions for further instructions on donating by check. Credit card payments can also be made securely online.

Wire Transfer

Wire transfer of U.S. dollars directly into LCIF’s bank account is an easy way to send humanitarian donations. In countries outside the U.S., many have found this to also be the most economical method. In countries where LCI has bank accounts, funds may be deposited in local currency.  Be sure to check the association's official exchange rates, show on monthly club statements.

Wire Transfer Information:
JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.
10 S. Dearborn Street
Chicago, IL 60603
ABA Routing No. 021000021
Account Name: Lions Clubs International Foundation
Account No. 754487312  (Be sure to use this account number.)
Swift International Banking number: CHASUS33

Present the above information to your bank along with the local currency amount, plus bank charges, and request the wire transfer of U.S. dollars to LCIF's bank. Next, fax or mail a copy of the receipt or wire transfer form to LCIF. Include on the form the recipient's name, district, club and member number as well as the donor's name, district and club number, and the form of recognition requested (i.e., MJF, club plaque, etc.).

Maximize your humanitarian donation

With two great ways to make your donation grow without additional cost to you, you can enable the Foundation to do even more for people in need throughout our global community.

Matching Gifts

Thousands of companies in the U.S. will match their employees’ charitable contributions, enabling you to double or even triple your donation. Is your employer one of them? Click here for a list of Matching Gift Companies. Ask your employer if they participate in a matching gift or workplace giving program, and if they do, follow these easy steps:
